His biography : Sascha was born in San Martin de los Andes, an Argentine mountain town in northern Patagonia. Since very young he skied in Chapelco (the local ski resort) where his parents were ski instructors. Not long after he did his first season in Spain where his mother used to work. He started ski racing young and made it to the Argentina national team by the time he was a teenager. In 2002 he started doing back to back winters between South America and Europe where he started competing in Ski Cross, participating in several FIS events. Little by little he started spending more time skiing out of bounds and getting into the Freeride competition world, both in Europe and South America. He has now been skiing for Zag for 2 years, and the H112 is his freeride ski: "It has the stiffness for variable snow and high speed, and the rocker for the powder floatation". The SLAP is his choice for powder days and backcountry adventures: "is very forgiving and comfortable for powder days."
