His biography : Fabien is native of Annecy, on skis since his younger age, he made his first turns in a small ski resort named La Sambuy. After several years of practice, he does his first freestyle comps but change fastly his way to come to freeride . For a guy who practises mountain climbing and ski touring, it was inevitable. Closer to the mountain and a playground 1000 times bigger, the choice is fast made. Fabien is a solid rider who likes the technical and rocky faces where the risk-taking is important but always calculated. His favourite tricks is the back flip above big cliffes and what makes him vibrate is the speed, the commitment and self control in all the worst situations. He has choosed Zag skis because « I love skiing full speed, jumping big cliffes and I really feel in security with H112, I know that I can trust thèse skis and trust my self by the same way. What ZAG skis brings you ? The H112 and his double rocker, its big tip and its hard flex help me to take some risks without thinking to the limit, this ski hasn’t any !! And as I always say ; « si t’es pas mort, envoie plus fort » (not so cute when translated..) Concerning SLAP MW they are really toys, so easy and effective in forest runs ! Fabien has never done any racing ski but he really wants to share his passion and that’s why he’s also a ski instructor. For two years in "Zag Family" the young skier has already made a small end of road. Winner of the Zinal Freeride and the Scott Czech big mountain in 2009, a 3rd place in the Open freeride festival and Zinal on 2008, he really wants to become a great actor of the world freeride scène and we know he has the level required. He Likes : good meet, good wine, Genepi and Jagermeister, long days riding with friends, big parties, mountain, his mum and surfing. He doesn’t like : Skiers who follows tracks with knowing where they go, winters without snow and… red-hair girls !!
