SLAP

92

The Shape

Bounce, spin, and play.

The Slap 92 pops up at both ends; it takes off and lands in switch without catching. A lively wood core stores the energy you put into it and sends it right back—a small push on a bump sends you higher than expected. At 92 mm, it stays responsive from edge to edge and light in the air, ready to pop, turn, and slash. It’s built for play. Every feature on the run becomes a feature, all day long.

Skiing

For those who treat the mountains as their playground.

This is the ski for those who see a challenge everywhere—from the bumps along the edge of the run to the wind-swept ridges, and from park sessions to features, jumps, and landings. Playful glades, where you slash, take off, and bounce between turns. It shines wherever creativity takes precedence over speed—light on its feet and forgiving enough to help you learn new tricks. For deep powder and big runs, the wider Slap models take over. To turn an ordinary day at the resort into a playground, this is the one.

A Note from the Shaper

Fait pour jouer avec la montagne.

We designed the Slap 92 for those who ski the whole mountain like it’s a park. We wanted energy and forgiveness. A twin-tip that works in switch, a core with enough spring to take off from nothing, and a flex playful enough for pop and press. We tested it in the park and on the moguls along the edges of the slopes until it turned predictably and landed smoothly, then we kept it lightweight so it would always be easy to handle. Serious enough to help you improve, flexible enough to have fun.

Construction

HEAVY DUTY LIGHT:
Lightweight and powerful for carving through vast expanses of virgin snow. This construction uses multi-axial fiberglass, enhancing the ski’s rideability and power by providing torsional and flexural stiffness. The goal is also to reduce the final weight of these XXL-sized skis, which is why the wood core incorporates paulownia—for lightness—alongside poplar, for strength. Ultimately, this construction makes the skis lightweight, playful, stable at high speeds, and durable over time! These characteristics have, over the years, cemented the legend surrounding the famous SLAP skis.

SEMI CAP:
Our SEMI CAP sandwich construction ensures optimal power transfer throughout the ski and provides the skier with all the grip needed on the hardest snow. The skis’ durability is also extended thanks to ABS sidewalls (enhanced resistance to cold and impact).

ROCKERS & CAMBER

Tip Rocker “20%”
Tail Rocker “15%”

Moderate camber

SHAPE

5-POINT SHAPE:
A unique shape design that increases the skis’ maneuverability without significantly increasing rocker values (which can cause vibrations). The principle is based on varying the longitudinal position of the widest points on the ski: the closer these points are to the center, the tighter the turns and the more playful the ski will be.

MULTI-RADIUS SHAPE:
A ski design method that allows for varying radii across several independent zones (front, middle, rear). This enables a very short radius underfoot (increased maneuverability) while maintaining forgiving tips and tails in challenging snow conditions.

FLEX

STIFFNESS:
3/5

TORSIONAL STIFFNESS:
Increased torsional stiffness for better grip on hard snow!
