Select the length of your skis

The truth is that there is not one perfect ski size for any one skier. Factors such as height and weight provide an excellent starting point but there are other factors to consider. Ski category, snow type, terrain and personal preference are just some of the things to take into account. The general rule is to pick a ski length that is somewhere between your chin and the top of your head. Advanced and expert skiers may choose skis that are slightly longer than head height. Shorter skis are generally more manoeuverable whilst longer ones more stable.

  • Bindings Plum Race 170 for your Zag ski UBAC TEAM
    Plum Race 170
    $ 365292 USD
    The Plum 170 binding is the 150 with a built-in 20mm adjustment plate. If you plan on using more than one boot with your setup, this is the version for you. The re-designed toe pieces feature smooth-operating lock levers that have clear stops for skiing and skinning. The wings are the same design that has stood the test of time. The heel piece has a simple pin-cover flap for uphill skinning and a can be turned sideways for flat-on-ski skating. All pins are steel with the heels being relatively resistant to notching. The Plum Race series has become of a standard setter for reliable racing and more. Built-in adjustment plates let you shift +/-10mm, almost enough for 3 boot sizes. New toe pieces have a lever that is more comfortable to grab and smoother to lock/unlock. Shortened heel-housing compensates for the adjustment plates, keeping you almost flat. Heels can rotate sideways for flat mode, with the plates preventing a negative ramp angle. Notch-resistant steel U-springs and a simple heel flap are robust and replaceable. Optional heel risers can help with steep climbs, or removed for a big race. New machined crampon attachments work extra-great with Plum crampons. Meets ISMF specs for racing and many people’s specs for mountaineering. 100% made in France. Weight (pair) : 342g
