We designed the Ubac 102 for skiers who seek out serious terrain. The key word was confidence. An edge that holds on hard, steep snow; a platform wide enough to carry you on the approach; and a flex stiff enough to respond instantly to strong, precise pressure. We took it out on the steep slopes of the mountain range and pushed it to its limits to figure out exactly where it holds up and where it gives way. If it was too flexible, it would bend under pressure. We built it to stay planted when it matters most.
