SLAP

92

The Shape

Poppy, spinny, ready to play.

Thanks to its double-tip profile, the Slap 92 takes off and lands in switch without ever catching an edge. Its responsive core stores energy during the takeoff to release it as explosive pop at the top of every bump. Its 92 mm waist width maintains excellent edge-to-edge responsiveness and true lightness in the air, allowing you to string together butters and spins. It’s designed to turn the terrain into a creative playground.

The ski

For skiers who play the whole hill.

This is the ideal ski for skiers who take advantage of every change in terrain. It really shines during off-piste maneuvers, in the snowpark, or in the woods, where it lets you pivot and jump between the trees. It prioritizes creativity and maneuverability over pure speed, while offering the forgiveness needed to pull off new tricks. If you want to turn the resort into your own personal park, this is the obvious choice.

Shaper's Note

Built to make the hill fun.

We designed the Slap 92 for riders who treat the mountain like a giant snowpark. Our goal was to combine lively pop with great landing forgiveness. We fine-tuned its twin-tip construction to ensure a smooth ride in switch, effortless pop on even the slightest bump, and very soft landings. It’s the perfect balance between precision for improving your skills and flexibility for having fun.

Construction

Heavy Duty Light:
Lightweight and powerful for carving through vast expanses of virgin snow. This construction uses multi-axial fiberglass, which enhances the ski’s rideability and power by providing torsional and flexural stiffness. The goal is also to reduce the final weight of these XXL-sized skis—hence the inclusion of paulownia wood in the core for lightness, complementing the poplar wood for strength. Ultimately, this construction makes the skis lightweight, playful, stable at high speeds, and built to last! These characteristics have, over the years, cemented the legend surrounding the famous SLAP skis.

Semi-cap:
Our semi-cap sandwich construction allows for optimal power transfer throughout the ski and provides the skier with all the grip needed on the hardest snow. The skis’ durability is also extended thanks to the ABS sidewalls (increased resistance to cold and impact).

Rockers & Camber

Tip Rocker “20%”
Tail Rocker “15%”

Moderate camber

Shape

5-Point Shape:
A unique shape design that increases the skis’ maneuverability without significantly increasing rocker values (which can cause vibrations). The principle is based on varying the longitudinal position of the widest points on the ski: the closer the widest points are to the center, the tighter the ski will turn and the more playful it will be.

Multi-radius shape:
A ski design method that allows the radii to vary across several independent zones (front, middle, rear). This enables a very short radius underfoot (increased maneuverability) while maintaining forgiving tips in challenging snow conditions.

Flex

Stiffness:
3/5

Torsional stiffness:
Increased torsional stiffness for better grip on hard snow!

Who is the SLAP 92 designed for?

For the creative skier who gets bored at the resort—the one who sees a low wall as a jump and a bump as a springboard. Carving, jumps, skidding, sudden changes of direction: the skis respond without imposing a particular style.

What size SLAP 92 should I choose?

The SLAP 92 is available in 160, 166, 173, 178, and 185 cm. For responsiveness and tight turns, choose your usual size or 5 cm shorter; for stability at high speeds, choose your usual size or 5 cm longer.

What are the dimensions and radius of the SLAP 92?

The SLAP 92 measures 91 to 92 mm, depending on the boot size. The dimensions range from 123 × 91 × 109 mm for the 160 cm size to 128 × 92 × 114 mm for the 185 cm size, with a turning radius ranging from 16.8 to 20 m. Detailed measurements by size are listed in the table on the product page.

How much does the SLAP 92 weigh?

The SLAP 92 weighs between 1,550 g for the 160 cm model and 1,820 g for the 185 cm model, per ski.

What is the profile of SLAP 92?

Medium camber, double rocker, medium flex

Which " Bindings " should I install on the SLAP 92?

The SLAP 92 is designed to be paired with an alpine Binding : Salomon Strive 10, Salomon Strive 12 GW, Strive 14 MN, or Strive 16 MN. A hybrid Binding , such as the ATK HY, is also an option if you want to occasionally go skins .

Is the installation of the Bindings s included with the SLAP 92?

Yes, assembly is included if you purchase Bindings at the same time as your skis and provide us with the necessary assembly information (boot shell length in mm / skier's weight / skier's skill level / skier's age).

Why isn't there any Titanal on the SLAP 92?

It's a design choice. Titanal provides grip and stability, but makes the ski less playful and less forgiving at low speeds. On the SLAP 92, the priority is on playfulness, responsiveness during turns, and forgiveness on uneven snow.

Can you go off-trail with the SLAP 92?

Its SLAP DNA gives it a natural feel for light off-piste skiing, and its double rocker makes it forgiving on uneven snow. It won't replace a SLAP 100 in 30 cm of powder, but it's often the best starting point for a single pair.

What is the difference between the SLAP 92 and the SLAP 100?

Eight millimeters at the tip, and a shift in style. The 92 is classified as an all-mountain ski: it stays connected to the trail. The 100 is a versatile freeride ski, offering better float in light powder. Both feature medium camber, double rocker, and medium flex.
