This construction uses multi-axial fiberglass, enhancing the ski’s performance and power by providing torsional and flexural stiffness. The goal is also to reduce the final weight of these XXL-sized skis, which is why the wood core features paulownia—for lightness—alongside poplar, for strength. Ultimately, this construction makes the skis lightweight, playful, stable at high speeds, and durable over time! These characteristics have, over the years, cemented the legend surrounding the famous SLAP.

Our SEMI CAP sandwich construction ensures optimal power transfer throughout the ski and provides skiers with all the grip they need on the hardest snow. The skis’ durability is also enhanced by ABS sidewalls (which offer increased resistance to cold and impact).

Moderate camber

A specific shape design that enhances the ski’s maneuverability without significantly increasing the rocker values (which can cause vibrations). This principle is based on adjusting the longitudinal position of the widest points of the ski: the closer these points are to the center, the tighter the turns and the more playful the ski becomes.
