You’ve reached the summit, your “ skins ” is in your pack, and ahead of you lies a slope you’re eager to tackle just like at a ski resort. In ski mode, the HY 13 Free positions the boot flat on the ski, just like an alpine “ Binding .” You maintain the stability and precision of a downhill run, without the weight of a classic freeride “ Binding .” For ascents, it features two crampon heights (+35.5 and +49 mm) and an automatic brake. The release mechanism is adjustable from 6 to 13. Within the ATK line, this is the hybrid “ Binding ” for freeriders who hike up but ski like they’re on the slopes.
