AROC

The shape

The power is in the camber.

The ski

Made for fast, empty pistes.

Shaper's Note

Built to reward commitment.

Construction

Construction:
The poplar core gives the AROC a responsive and durable ski. Aluminum inserts at the tail and nose reinforce the structure at key points, providing greater strength and a bold touch of style. The multiaxial fiberglass adds grip and dynamism, while the anti-vibration rubber insert absorbs bumps in the terrain for a comfortable ride in all conditions. A powerful, flawless construction.

Semi-cap:
Our semi-cap sandwich construction ensures optimal power transfer throughout the ski and provides the skier with all the grip needed on the hardest snow. The skis’ durability is also extended thanks to ABS sidewalls (increased resistance to cold and impact).

Rockers & Camber

"10%" Tip Rocker
"10%" Tail Rocker

Moderate camber

Shape

Multi-radius shape:
A ski design method that allows the radii to vary across several independent zones (front, middle, rear). This enables a very short radius underfoot (for increased maneuverability) while maintaining forgiving tips in difficult snow conditions.

Flex

Stiffness:
5/5

Torsional stiffness:
Multiaxial fiberglass provides excellent stiffness and torsional responsiveness

Who is the AROC intended for?

For skiers coming from alpine skiing or competition who want an all-mountain resort ski without sacrificing the grip and precision they're used to. Rigorous construction, exemplary grip, and flawless stability.

What are the dimensions and radius of the AROC?

The AROC measures 85.5 to 87 mm at the skate, depending on the skate size. Dimensions range from 124 × 85.5 × 108 mm for the 153 cm size to 128.5 × 87 × 112.5 mm for the 185 cm size, with a turning radius ranging from 14.8 to 19.9 m. Detailed measurements by size are listed in the table on the product page.

Which AROC size should I choose?

The AROC is available in lengths of 153, 160, 166, 173, 178, and 185 cm. For responsiveness and tight turns, choose your usual size or 5 cm shorter; for stability at high speeds, choose your usual size.

How much does the AROC weigh?

Pronounced camber, slight rocker, stiff torsion, stiff flex, medium turning radius.

What is the AROC profile?

Pronounced camber, slight rocker, stiff torsion, stiff flex, medium turning radius.

Which " Bindings " should be installed on the AROC?

The AROC is paired with an alpine Binding : a DIN range of 4–12 is suitable for intermediate skiers, while DIN 14 or 16 is recommended for powerful skiers. The Salomon Strive 10, Strive 12 GW, Strive 14 MN, and Strive 16 MN are featured in the catalog.

Is the installation of the Bindings s included with the AROC?

Yes, assembly is included if you purchase Bindings at the same time as your skis and provide us with the necessary assembly information (boot shell length in mm / skier's weight / skier's skill level / skier's age).

Is the AROC straying from the beaten path?

Its lightweight rocker profile keeps the door open for venturing into mixed snow conditions, but its pronounced camber and stiff flex make it best suited for hardpack. For regular off-piste skiing, the SLAP 92 or SLAP 100 are better choices.

What is the difference between AROC and MATA?

The AROC is narrower (85.5 to 87 mm compared to 90 mm), with a pronounced camber and a stiff flex: it requires a firm push and rewards commitment. The MATA Ti has a medium camber and flex: it enters turns more easily and is forgiving of imperfect pushes.
